November 2nd 10 am twins meeting: Dr. Jolly Ma, Dentist

Guest speaker: Dr. Jolly Ma, dentist - talking about dental care for infants and toddlers
Dr. Jolly Ma, also a parent of young twins, will be speaking at 10:15 sharp (with questions to follow) as she has to leave at 11:00 a.m.
Socializing from 11:00 - 12:00.
Our wonderful University Hill secondary students will be helping again with the little ones with various activities, including arts & crafts, dress-up and reading so many parents will hopefully be able to enjoy the talk.

Oct 5th 2008 Meeting: Halloween

A HALLOWEEN party this Sunday Oct 5/08 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
at MFRC Jericho Site. Please check the Vancouver Twins Club site for details of the location.

Please have your babies/children come in costumes should you desire. Parents are welcome to dress up as well!

Halloween Clothing Swap/Sale
Please bring your old Halloween clothes to either sell or swap with other parents.
There will be crafts and treats for all!!!

Sep 7 2008 meeting

On Sept. 7th - as we roll into fall - it’s a perfect time to welcome
our guest Rowena List. She has a business called Getting it
Together. www.gettingittogether.com

Her speciality is de-cluttering/organizing…

I saw her speak at another parents’ group and she was well received.
You were able to take away some good tips to get started even in the
simplest of ways or areas of your house. (children’s artwork; shoes;
memory boxes etc.)

Rowena will be speaking for the first hour of the meeting - which
includes lots of time for questions!

It would be great to see as many of you as possible!

If you have any specific questions or areas of interest you’d like her
to cover, please send them my way and I’ll send her a compiled list.

The time will be the same as usual (10:00 - 12:00 a.m).  It’s at the usual location at the MFRC, location on the web site with parking instructions.

Summer Picnic July 13th 2008 at Maple Grove Pool

The summer picnic will be held at Maple Grove Park and swimming pool in Vancouver. This event is weather dependent as there is no under cover area. There are trees for shade etc.

Meeting June 8th

We will be having a speaker, Suzanne Ferrera whose an occupational therapist talking on parenting issues.  The time will be the same as usual (10:00 - 12:00 a.m.) and she’ll probably be speaking from 10:30 - 11:00 with questions following.  It’s at the usual location at the MFRC, location on the web site with parking instructions.

Next meeting Sept 9th

Our next meeting will be on Sept 9th at the Kits Neighbourhood house from 2pm-4pm (http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=Kits%20Neighbourhood%20house).  It will be a social event giving us a chance to meet all our new members and see how much the kids have grown!  There is no meeting on Sept 2nd as we thought too many folks would be away for the long weekend.
